The fact that I'm worried about you seeing that I liked some random post on facebook proves that I'll never be free. I'm too spineless to block you and unfriend you, too wimpy to kick you out of my life. So I deal with having you there at arm's length and texting you at least once a day so you can't complain that I ignore you. But still you're there, and I feel the weight of your talons in my back. I expect you to freak out at a moment's notice, and kick up my anxiety once again. I hate you.
